  1. Part 4 -- Frequency / Cognate Lists
  2.           (Landes, Mitchell, Payne, Langenscheidt, Strong)

  4. This section contains all Hebrew words of 10 or more occurrances in the Hebrew
  5. Scriptures, and many of less than 10 occurrances.  All related words appear
  6. together in "cognate groups."
  7.  
  8. There are two parts to making up a vocabulary list:
  9.    First, What cognate groups are going into the list;
  10.   Second, What frequency range and types of words do you want
  11.           included in the final list?
  12.  
  13. You choose cognate groups by the frequency of occurrance of the verbal root,
  14. or by the frequency of occurrance of some type of word.
  15.  
  16. EXAMPLES:
  17. All cognate groups of verbal roots which occur 2000 or more times.
  18. All cognate groups of adjectives which occur 60-90 times.
  19.  
  20. You limit the frequency range of the final list by giving the minimum
  21. and maximum frequencies of the words you want included.  Limit the type
  22. by indicating what kinds of words you want (135 would mean Nouns, Verbs,
  23. Prepositions).
